Qualitative vs Quantitive Research
My first approach to understanding qualitative and quantitative research was to use Google and numerous ".org" websites to try to grasp the concepts in simpler terms. Then I ventured over to ole reliable...ChatGPT to help organize my findings a bit more, and here's what I found.
Quantitative research is about numbers. It asks things like how many, how much, what’s the relationship between variables. One helpful way I think about it is that quantitative provides the map (how many, where trends are), while qualitative gives you the story (why things look as they do, what the terrain is like). I found that many find a way to blend the methods depending on what they're studying.

I also appreciated how you described quantitative data as the map and qualitative data as the story, the distinctions you made existent between the two, and even the source you linked. Last but certainly not least, I think it is so cool that you are feeling like more of a quantitative girly (as I am feeling like more of a qualitative girly lolol) and ya, I am just really excited to see where you go with your capstone project.
